No audio for few hundred ms after repositioning compressed audio |
When repositioning a compressed audio media, the CODEC produces first no sound for sometime (can be 300ms), and then when it has get enough compressed data it starts to produce the audio. Therefore to avoid getting this blank audio startup, it is necessary to reposition the audio before the desired position and pre-skip the start of the CODEC output up to desired position. The pre-ship duration must be sufficient to cover the initial CODEC blank time (will be set at 500ms). |
